Glisten International Academy, Abuja provides an all-inclusive system of education that support the student learning in every way, and ensure the well-being of all in the community. Admission is open for students of all families’ status and background, races, nationalities, religions and cultures.

We welcome all students and families to apply for admission. The general admission is open in June – September every year. However, if children are moving from another country or school, they can be admitted at the beginning of the academic term and not later than 6 weeks after school resumption, provided there is a space in the class of their age group.

Admission into Glisten International Academy, Abuja is either by informal or more structured assessments, according to entry level. For all candidates, final offer of admission is based on the performance at the entrance examination and reports from previous schools.

Admission Procedure
The Admission forms are obtainable at the Glisten International Academy, Abuja’s Admission Office or Online. Entrance into Primary School must be from five years while that of Secondary School must be at least ten years old in the year of admission.
Entry into other classes:
Year 2 – 5 available
Year 8 – 10 available

Admission Requirements
Admission forms should be returned to Glisten International Academy, Abuja with the following: For Early Years Foundation School (EYFS)

  • Birth certificate and
  • Immunization certificate/Medical Certificate of Fitness.

    • For Years 1 -10

  • 2 recent colored passport sized photographs;
  • 1 photocopy of birth certificate;
  • 1 photocopy of immunization record/Medical certificate of fitness;
  • 1 photocopy of the last School results (1st, 2nd and 3rd terms) of their present school;
  • Photocopy of Testimonial (for Year 7 applicants)
  • Transfer letters are required for students transferring from transiting classes i.e. Years 2 – 6 and Years 8 – 10;
  • Candidates who have been cleared by the admission office normally sit for an entrance Examination held in the school. This examination dates are communicated to parents that have purchased admission forms.

    • Entrance Examination
    No examination is required for Admission into Early Years Foundation School (EYFS).
    Glisten International Academy, Abuja’s Entrance examination is in three phases which are;
    Phase 1: Computer Based Test (CBT) multiple choice in Mathematics and English
    Phase 2: Skills Test in applicant’s areas of interest e.g. Robotics, Basketball, ICT, Culinary Skills, Arts, Music
    etc. Phase 3: Interview session with applicants
    For all candidates, final offer of admission is based on the performance at the entrance examination and reports from previous schools.

    Confirmation of Acceptance
    Parents of successful candidates are required to confirm their children’s admission by paying non- refundable commitment fee of N50,000 (Fifty Thousand Naira) to secure space for their wards. Those who wish to defer admission are expected to write to the school and also maintain the place by paying the non-refundable deposit.

    Issuance of Unconditional Acceptance
    On receipt of full school fees and all the necessary documents required, an unconditional acceptance letter is issued to the applicant.

    Withdrawal Policy
    Before a student can be withdrawn, Glisten International Academy requires a term’s notice or one term’s fees in lieu of notice. Where there is a default such student shall not be issued transcript or transfer certificate.

    Please note that notices of withdrawal submitted at the end of a term effective the next term cannot be accepted as a term’s notice i.e. a child who wishes to withdraw in Easter term should give notice at the beginning of the Christmas term or one that does not wish to resume a new session must give notice of withdrawal at the beginning of the term.
    Otherwise, a term’s fees in lieu of notice shall be paid.
